GivingTuesday: November 28, 2023

On GivingTuesday, people all around the world are coming together to strengthen communities and change our world. Will you be one of them?

Together, acts of kindness and compassion have been driving forces in overcoming challenges and fostering a sense of global unity. Together, we can restore community.

The Coffee Oasis is participating in GivingTuesday, the global day of unity and giving. Many of the youth in our community have no place to call home and no people to call family. Together, we can provide a safe place for youth to take shelter, heal, belong, and grow.

Ways to Join the GivingTuesday Movement:

Spread the Word

Share about GivingTuesday with your friends and community! Encourage your friends and family to join you in creating real impact on November 28 by sharing what our mission means to you and why you support The Coffee Oasis. Make sure to use the hashtag #GivingTuesday and tag @thecoffeeoasis so we can share!

Fundraise to Give Youth Shelter

Even a small gift can make a big impact in the life of a youth.

$5 = 1 hour of safety and shelter for a youth

$60 = 1 night of shelter for a youth

Create a personal fundraiser on Mightycause for GivingTuesday and share with your friends, coworkers, family, and community. We’ve set up a fundraiser template to make it easy for you!

Give hurting and homeless youth hope and a home for Christmas.

Each year, hundreds of youth come to Christmas parties held by The Coffee Oasis. They come to share dinner, sing Christmas songs, hear the Christmas story, and open gifts. They come for the same reason you would go home: to be with their family at Christmas.

For many of our youth, this is their only Christmas celebration.

This Christmas, would you consider sponsoring youth to receive gifts through the Family Christmas Project?

By sponsoring youth this Christmas, you are showing them they are loved and wanted. Your gift provides youth with Christmas presents and a safe place to call home for the holidays. $50 can provide Christmas gifts for one youth!

What is GivingTuesday?

GivingTuesday is a Movement that Unleashes the Power of Radical Generosity Around the World.

GivingTuesday was created in 2012 as a simple idea: a day that encourages people to do good. Over the years, this idea has grown into a year-round global movement that inspires hundreds of millions of people to give, collaborate, and celebrate generosity. It is an opportunity for people around the world to come together to share what they have with those in need.

This GivingTuesday, together we can restore our community. Together, we can create pathways of opportunity for youth to be restored in heart, soul, mind, and body.
