The Coffee Oasis Bremerton Youth Shelter is a 6 bed DSHS licensed youth shelter that provides youth with a safe and encouraging place to live while they work towards sustainable housing and employment.

Eligible Youth
Youth ages 16 to 20 who…
- Are experiencing homelessness
- Ran away from home
- Have been sexually exploited or trafficked
- Are in crisis without a safe place to stay overnight

- With active warrants
- Registered as sex offenders
- With recent violent history: Sexual offenses/Assault charges, level 1,2,3 (In the past 3 years)
- Posing any safety threat
Provisions

- Snacks and meals
- Internal and external resource referral
- Mentoring and case management
- Access to emergency medical care
Maximum stay: 150 days with a commitment of case management after 3 consecutive days of stay

Accepted 24/7 by calling the Shelter at (360) 479-5123. Or by email.
Staff will confirm an open bed on a 1st come 1st served basis until we are at capacity. Remaining youth will be placed on a waiting list managed by housing staff.
Intake/Assessment: Due to the nature of our mission and purpose to provide a safe welcome, we must screen the youth who stay in the shelter. We are also required to attempt to notify legal guardians upon arrival and within 72 hours of youth entering into our program. If we are unable to ascertain contact information for a guardian, the appropriate Law Enforcement agency must be contacted within 72 hours.
