Donate Meals to the Tacoma Shelter

Resident Meal Program

The Resident Meal program provides meals to shelter residents and staff. Providing a meal also supports our shelter staff in their effort to build meaningful connections with homeless youth. At least one night a week, shelter residents and staff will share a meal together to build relationships and foster healthy habits.

You can purchase meals and arrange for them to be delivered to our youth shelter!

Each week, we need a main entree and salad/veggies to serve 14 (12 youth and 2 staff). Due to Washington State licensing requirements we must follow strict guidelines for providing food to shelter residents.

All menu items must be from one or more of the following:

  • Prepared in a licensed commercial kitchen—this means no home cooked meals or homemade items.
  • Local restaurants/eateries who maintain current licensing requirements for their establishment.
  • Pre-packed foods or grocery items in their original packaging and before their expiration date.

Donate Restaurant Gift Cards

You can donate restaurant gift cards so the shelter staff can purchase meals for Resident Dinner Night.
