Hundreds of youth in Pierce County are living on the streets, couch surfing or living in temporary shelter. Many of these youth battle depression, isolation, addiction, and trauma. They need safe, reliable, and compassionate care.
In August of 2019, The Coffee Oasis opened the first 24/7 emergency underage youth shelter in Pierce County! The Coffee Oasis Tacoma Shelter offers youth 13-17 years old a safe and encouraging place to live while they work towards sustainable housing and employment. Yet The Coffee Oasis needs your help to continue to provide shelter and resources for youth in Pierce County.
You can help provide shelter to youth in Pierce County by participating in the 2022 Coffee & Corks event. Whether you bid on an auction item or raise your paddle to give, you will be providing shelter and resources for youth in Pierce County. You will offer youth a place to find rest, safety, and hope for the future.
