Homeless youth often have things that make it difficult to get a job: underdeveloped social skills, criminal history, or transportation barriers. They need education and work experience. Most of all they need opportunities to develop their skills and talents!

In HOPE Inc., youth participate in weekly skills-training classes, on-site barista training, and job internships with local businesses. The support and encouragement they receive during their internships gives them confidence and equips them for the workplace.

In 2017, 100% of youth who finished a HOPE INC job internship were employed within 6 months!

Services offered include:

100 hour job internships (minimum age 16 years)
Job-site mentoring
Professional references upon completion of internship
Resume development
Internship stipends
