DESCRIPTION:Save the date for our 5th annual fundraiser for the Tacoma Youth Shelter: Coffee & Corks\, an evening of hope! \nWednesday\, October 5 at 5:30pm\nFEATURING\n– Incredible Youth Stories\n– Silent Auction\n– Raise the Paddle\n– Dinner\n– Live Auction\n– Dessert Dash \nLOCATION\nHistoric 1625 Tacoma Place\n1625 S Tacoma Way\, Tacoma\, WA 98409 \nHundreds of youth in Pierce County are living on the streets\, couch surfing or living in temporary shelter. Many of these youth battle depression\, isolation\, addiction\, and trauma. They need safe\, reliable\, and compassionate care. \nIn August of 2019\, The Coffee Oasis opened the first 24/7 emergency underage youth shelter in Pierce County! The Coffee Oasis Tacoma Shelter offers youth 13-17 years old a safe and encouraging place to live while they work towards sustainable housing and employment. Yet The Coffee Oasis needs your help to continue to provide shelter and resources for youth in Pierce County. \nYou can help provide shelter to youth in Pierce County by participating in the 2022 Coffee & Corks event. Whether you bid on an auction item or raise your paddle to give\, you will be providing shelter and resources for youth in Pierce County.
