What if the Church welcomed homeless youth into their lives, homes, and neighborhoods?
The Coffee Oasis is motivated to love homeless youth because Jesus first loved us. We strongly believe that the church is called to love the outcast, the forgotten, and the rejected. Our hope is that the local Church will rise up to love and care for the youth in their own backyard. The church can be there in so many ways for their own. VOLUNTEER
Be a mentor. Spend time in an Oasis Center. Tutor. Go on outreach. Answer the Crisis Text Line. Encourage people in your church to use their skills and talents to care for youth!
HOST A LATE NIGHT
On Friday evenings, every Oasis Center has a special Late Night event from 6-9pm with a hot dinner, games, a speaker, and more. Your church or group could “host” a Late Night and create a special occasion for youth in your city!
HOLD A RESOURCE DRIVE
Choose from the list of needed resources and involve your church in gathering and donating items!
GIVE
Consider financially supporting the mission of the Coffee Oasis as a church. You will receive regular updates about how your giving is making a difference!
SERVE COFFEE
Serve Coffee Oasis coffee on your Sunday gatherings and you will financially support the mission to bring hope to homeless youth! (And you will serve the BEST coffee.)
HOST HOMES
Families can become “Host Homes” and offer living space in their house to a homeless youth for a period of time. Your church could support Host Families and Respite Families in meeting youths’ need for housing and safety in an incredible way!
