All That Happened in 2016: Coffee Oasis Annual Report

For 20 years, The Coffee Oasis has been changing the world for homeless youth. That’s an incredible thing!

Thousands of hurting and homeless youth have received hope, love, and opportunity. Kids with felonies have become employed. Young people who slept in parks have been stably housed. Volunteers have discovered they have wisdom and love to share with kids in their community. Lives have been changed. Loneliness, abandonment, and darkness have been replaced with family, belonging, and hope.

Looking back at 2016, you will see it was a year of immense growth. You will find out how many lattes were made (can you guess?), hear from a young man who overcame a jail record and homelessness, and discover 3 new ways our program staff are making sure we reach hurting youth.

It was also a year of staying true to our roots, of continuing to ask every day, “How do we change the world for homeless youth?”

None of this would be possible without YOU! Thank you for making 20 years possible. We hope you are encouraged by looking back at all that happened in 2016!
